Taiwan Lifts Visa Restrictions on Philippines

After talks and discussions, Taiwan finally lifted visa restrictions on Filipino workers.
"Republic of China (Taiwan) has lifted the restrictions on visa applications for all
Filipino workers bound for Taiwan" as indicated in the Taiwan Embassy website (http://www.taiwanembassy.org/ph/ct.asp?xItem=188266&ctNode=4695&mp=272).

This is a relief for Filipino workers going to Taiwan since February 7, 2011 when a misunderstanding between Taiwan and the Philippines occurred. It is cleared now. Thanks to Pres. Noynoy Aquino, emissary Manuel Mar Roxas and MECO Chairman Hon. Amadeo Perez Jr. in helping to ease the relations between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Philippines.
